All students under the age of 18 are automatically enrolled in our young musician program. We feel that continuity is the basis for success in music, so our program follows a semester model and allows for multiple opportunities for group interaction, in addition to monthly private lessons.

There are 3 semesters in our year: Fall, Spring, and Summer.  Fall and Spring are longer semesters, both with 17 weeks, while the summer semester is shorter to allow for flexibility of travel plans, etc. Please read all of the information below, as Fall and Spring differ from the Summer Semester.

What You Get:

  • 17 Weekly Lessons
  • 3 Monthly Performance Workshops
  • 1 Makeup Lesson (applied at the end of the semester, if needed)
  • 1 Formal Recital

What You Pay

  • 30 Minute Lessons: $475
  • 45 Minute Lessons: $712.50
  • 60 Minute Lessons: $950

Payment Plan Options

  • Single Payment:
    • Due at the beginning of the semester
    • $25 discount per student is applied to the total listed above ($75 if paying for year in full)
  • Two Payments
    • Half of the total listed above is paid at the beginning of the semester, half is paid at the semester mid-point.
  • 5 Monthly Payments
    • The semester total is dispersed over the course of the semester, into 5 equal payments. These payments are always due by the 1st of each month.

We encourage you to choose the single payment, if at all possible, for obvious reasons: you get a LOT more for your money, less admin work for us, less credit card fees, etc.

 


 

Summer Semester

During the summer, students are required to take at least 8 weeks of private lessons. All students who participate in the summer semester automatically qualify for priority Fall registration.

Students who do not take summer lessons will most likely lose their prior lesson day/time.

Payment Options for Summer Semester are as follows:

  • Single Payment of $216
  • 2 Split Payments of $108 each (due by the 5th of June and July)

Student accounts will be reconciled at the end of the summer. Students who have taken over 8 lessons will be invoiced for the overage. Those who take less will have a credit applied to their fall tuition.

 

 


 


Cancellation/Termination Policy

If you decide to discontinue your lessons, we will miss you! We will however refund any monies owed for future lessons. All we ask for is a two week advanced notice. Your refund will be based on a rate of $50/hour.

Missed Lesson Policy

We allow a makeup for one missed lesson per semester (EXCEPTION: If your child is ill and contagious, please call your teacher and do not bring them to their lesson). This lesson may be made up either at the discretion of your teacher, or during the makeup week at the end of the semester.

If a teacher needs to cancel a lesson, they will attempt to make it up at your convenience. If it is unable to be made up, a refund will be given at the end of the semester.
