Guitar Department

Learning to play guitar is an experience that can be lifelong. Whether you are interested in learning to play your favorite pop songs, mastering a particular technique, or immersing yourself in a classical program, the In Tune Studio guitar staff is able to guide you.  We accept guitar students starting at age 7 and do not normally accept younger students (based on their need to have a certain level of motor skills for various guitar techniques). In addition to the weekly lesson, each semester there is an optional age-based group instructional workshop.

Other areas of instruction that compliment guitar lessons are music composition, music theory, and songwriting. Our instructors are prepared to help integrate these aspects into your lessons, or to add additional lesson times to focus on these extra areas of interest.

Our instructors come from both classically trained and self taught backgrounds. Each have working experience in the field of music, from gigging locally to touring nationally, with varied teaching styles that compliment each other nicely.
