2013 Summer Music Camps

 

We are happy to introduce our 2013 summer camps! If you are looking for a creative and fun outlet for your kid this summer, you've come to the right place! With a low teacher to student ratio and small camp sizes, we offer your child a great opportunity to be introduced to music while having a blast doing it! All of our camps are hands on and incorporate directed study on an instrument, crafting, and free play time. We are located just across from Grant Park so we are able to utilize a great outdoor space during camp hours.

 

Camp Pricing

  • Full Day (9am - 5pm): $375
  • 1/2 Day (9am-12:30pm or 1:30pm-5pm): $200

Meal plans are available through Grant Park Coffeehouse (organic & non-organic options) for an additional fee. Information will be sent out with camp registration packets.

  • Early bird discount (30%) available until April 1!
  • Sibling Discount of 10% available for 2 or more children (cannot be used with Early Bird Discount)
  • Current Client Discount of 10% (cannot be used with Early Bird Discount)

Guitar and Rock Band Camps - July 15-19

Morning Session: Guitar Camp Register for Morning Session
Age Groups : 8+
Lead Instructor: Amy

Description: Can you already rock out to Nirvana, Taylor Swift, or Villa-Lobos? Or maybe you've never picked up a guitar before in your life. Come spend a week learning as much as you can about the guitar and different styles of playing. No, we won't make you Metallica-heads play Taylor Swift, but we will provide an atmosphere where all genres and styles of playing are accepted and explored. No prior guitar playing experience is necessary.

 

Afternoon Session: Rock Band Camp Register for Afternoon Session
Age Groups : 8 yrs+
Lead Instructor: Amy

Description: Unleash your inner rock star! We'll be forming bands, writing songs, and learning to perform them. By the end of the week you'll have at least one complete song, ready for the stage. Speaking of stage, we'll end the week with a concert featuring the bands from camp, along with a special guest band! Campers are encouraged to bring friends (see the family discount section above) and all instruments are welcome.
